Rory Daniel is a freelance professional commercial photographer based in Singapore and South East Asia. As you can see from his portfolio he specializes in people, company portraits, architecture, food, annual reports, corporate and advertising photography.

Originally from Australia, he now considers himself a Singapore photographer based in his adopted home (of six years). This makes him ideally suited for assignments throughout the Asian region including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, China, India and Thailand. Rory's work has appeared in a number of magazines and newspapers including Time Magazine, Forbes Magazine, the Straits Times, Wine and Dine, Singapore Tatler, Her World, the Age Newspaper and Reader's Digest and in-flight magazines for Tiger Air, Singapore Airlines and Jet Star.

He is a freelance photographer in Singapore, providing services to a wide range of clients from shooting a hotel's entire operations from the building exteriors, interiors, restaurants, food and personnel portraits to annual reports for corporate clients and celebrities for magazines.. His advertising work has included shooting campaigns for S&W with Bates141 and shooting full page newspaper ads for property developers. He has worked extensively with educational bodies such as SMU, Insead, Shatec, Knowledge Universe and the University of Las Vegas, producing images for their brochures and marketing materials.

He has recently completed an extensive architectural photography project, shooting the entire Peace Hotel in Shanghai for the Fairmont Group of Hotels.  This included some amazing interior photography of their famous and fabulous glass dome above the lobby.  He has just completed a food photography project for the Taste Group in Singapore.  CIMB Bank engaged Rory as an environmental portraitist to take pictures of their Singapore General Manager. 

He has just complete shooting the Wanderlust Hotel in Singapore.
